Large 400kV, variable speed. Upper pulley is mounted in ball races and the combs are easily adjustable for position. The power of the drive motor is adjusted by a small electronic speed controller so that slowing of the belt becomes evident as the the charge is transported into the upper sphere. A static charge is induced on the rubber belt when it contacts the motor pulley. The belt carries this charge progressively to the large upper sphere where it adds to the existing charge.

Kit comes complete with 75mm diameter Discharge Ball with handle together with a cable for earthing the ball to the terminal on the front panel. The upper sphere is 275mm in diameter.
