English Zone is a multi-level course of study for secondary school international students for whom English is a second language. The Beginner Book caters for students arriving with very few English Skills. Subsequent books at Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and intermediate levels develop a structured are sequential course that presents a comprehensive series for English language teaching in New Zealand.

· A starter activity that serves to stimulate, while also checking the starting point of the students in the English skill being covered.

· Listening, reading, writing and speaking activities that are clearly identified to ensure the student is not confused. At the same time, they allow the teacher to bring out specific language structures and grammatical features for each language skills.
