"Skylarks" is a series of fiction books divided by chapters and covering a wide range of genres from adventure, humour and fairy tale to fantasy, mystery and science fiction. Two friends must put aside their differences and work together to save the life of a whale trapped beneath Arctic ice Samuel is rude and unfriendly when he first moves to the Arctic. He hates the cold and quiet and misses all his friends from home. But then a local boy, Irniq, gives him a chance, and the boys form a quick and unlikely friendship. However, as the summer comes to an end, the boys quarrel and drift apart. One winter day, Irniq finds a trapped whale under the ice, and doesn't know what to do. Luckily, Samuel appears and knows exactly who can help. Will the boys be able to work together and save the whale in time?
