Peri and her family have moved to a new city. Her younger brother, Luke, copes by spending most of his time sitting high up in a tree. When Peri is introduced to Max, there's an instant attraction. Luke too is drawn to him, for Max is one of the few people who can entice Luke down from his tree. But Max is not always the safest person to be around.
